Would not use them again.

M&K did a good job of installing but their follow-up was poor. When I had a problem with the unit they installed 2 years earlier I had problems getting them to come out when I was having a problem with the new Unit they had installed. Before I started having a problem with the new unit they did other work for us.And, we were surprised that they responded to us as if they did not seem to appreciate us as a customer. They reneged on an ongoing process we were paying them to do without properly notifying that they no longer wanted to service us. But, I main problem has been with their lack of caring attitude regarding the new air unit they installed . When we started having a problem with it after two yeas we had difficulty getting an appointment even after we agreed to pay them their 90 dollar fee. Meanwhile, we called other companies and they all agreed to come without charging a fee and we had no difficulty getting them to come without charges. One in particular, Air supply, came out and performed an analysis and performed a few repairs without any charges at all. And, encouraged us to call them again if we had any problems. The cooling system is working fine now. I really expected M&K to provide the same courtesy since we had not only paid a lot for the unit but had given them additional work and paid for it. They did not seem to want our business. We especially received ,what we would classify as cold non caring treatment from one of the operators, Believe her name is Linda or Diane. The owner said when I discussed that with her that I had to sweet talk her. She did schedule one appointment for us but we learned after calling her, to confirm the appointment on the scheduled day that the person was not coming because they had a problem. She did not call me we called her after waiting for the person.She did not offer an apology nor suggest a rescheduling, I had to ask her. She appears to be non caring . We finally called several other companies they all came without a fee and evaluated. One in particular stands out. Air Supply not only came out but performed a few repairs without any charge at all. Put in a few ounce of Freon without charges . And, the others, 4 of them, wanted to put in many pounds and charge much for repairs. But, M&K has disappointed me because they were well recommended. They do not seem to care anymore, at least not in my case.

I am sorry you were not happy with our service. We try to treat everyone with respect and courtesy. You have a home warranty policy, so when you called us after having several of their contractors out (each telling you something different per your phone conversation with Kathy), we were surprised. We do not work with home warranty companies, so while you may have paid the initial deductible, the repairs they performed were done through your home warranty, thus no cost to you other than your premium and deductible, whether you use their services or not. Kathy even asked you why you were calling us since you did have the home warranty. We rescheduled your appointment multiple times on multiple days for you, only to have you cancel/reschedule.
Our company is no longer able to send someone out to change your filters for the price we had previously agreed upon. We did it as a service to you, but it cost us more than we made. We explained this to you and told you that you would need to find someone else to fill that need.
Again, we are sorry we failed to live up to your expectations. We wish you luck in the future with your air conditioning needs.
