Sold a defective AC unit
I purchased a new Lennox AC unit 2 1/2 years ago from Temperature Pro. With in 6 months, the compressor unit began making noises. It was caused by the fan blades scraping the interior of the metal vent hood. I thought that this was an unusual issue, but Temperature Pro charged me $240 to "fix" the problem, even though it was a brand new unit. This same problem came up again a few weeks ago and Temperature Pro came out to look at it again. This is not an issue of any mechanical systems but simply a defective product. I was charged another $80 to repair it but I asked for a long term solution which I have yet to hear back from Temperature Pro. I don't want to be charged for them to repeatedly come out to "fix" a problem that exist with the unit every year.
