I had a blown bathroom vent fan. For the last five years the motor kept burning out. I hired handyman to replace the motor and with a year or two it would burn out. Since I am going to be selling my home I wanted to make sure I had a proper fan installed. In looking for an electrician and reading the reviews I found Mike’s Electric.
When I called for an appointment they were booking a few weeks out and did suggest I buy the fan ahead of time. They gave me the name and part number and suggested websites where I could purchase the fan. Fan arrived a few weeks before my appointment. I was notified and reminded of my appointment within 24 hrs. Amanda was amazing.
The electrician came right on time, set up and installed the fan in a hour. I had also asked about getting a GFCI outlet installed in the Owner’s bathroom. The electrician checked my out let, check where the original GFCI outlet was and stated I didn’t have to have one in the bathroom as the original was the correct one. As he walked out of the room, the original GFCI switch made a pop sound, it shut off on it’s own. The electrician stopped walking and turned back into the room. He immediately said ‘That’s not right.’ He tested all the wires and determined the switch was bad and replaced it. This is what happens when a company cares about the quality of the work they do. It shows in their employees, from the people who make the appointments to the electricians who do the work. I am not going to fool you. They charge a high price and it was worth it. As we move into our new home, I will be using Mike’s Electric again.
