Based on their performance, I am very likely to recommend SmogBuster Inc.
The first thing is that because I work with gas, whenever you work inside a vessel, the emissions are very important. A lot of times the job gets shut down because of the carbon dioxide levels being too high because of the high activity that go inside that confined space.
What's neat about SmogBuster is that if I give them the drawing of the vessels, they calculate the volume required to exchange the air on that vessel through multiple air changes within an hour in that vessel, so they have a program that basically identifies where those areas and fans need to be.
So, the fat that they can do that with 3D simulation, as an owner, it gives you a very accurate layout of what you will required to do on that vessel in various levels, without having to worry about seal levels going off.
Their work prevents you from having to get out of that space and have major disruption to that work which typically costs a lot of money. Their systems allow you to continue to work because of the air exchange that they do.
In the past, I have called them up and said: here's a print, can you put together a plan for how to ventilate the space and what they do is they give me drawings so that I can show them to clients. Once they client says yes to the cost and the drawings, we typically assist with the rigging by using a trademan and finally, Smarbuster comes in to monitor and maintain the rig.
