This was my first time using Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing. I had a different plumbing company that I had a contract with that did all of my repairs and maintenance for several rental properties that I own. They came out and quoted me a price that was absolutely ridiculous with a time frame for repair or replacement of a kitchen faucet that was ridiculous as well. I called a second company to come out and give me a quote which amounted to about $300, which was a substantial difference from my contracted plumber and they did tighten it up some things but that didn't last long. So then I called Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing and the technician that came out was not customer friendly, he simply opened up a price list and quoted me a price of over $1,000 to install a kitchen faucet. I bought the faucet and they just had to install it with a few parts from them. This was all very concerning to me the difference in pricing. I told the plumber that I had gotten a lower quote from a different company and he came down on his price and did install the faucet. The work itself is good and it did resolve my issue which is the reason for the five-star review. My concern is the difference in what was quoted and what he said after I told him about the $300 quote.

I have since fired the company that I had the maintenance contract with and will no longer be using them. Had this experience with Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing gone a different way with the pricing I would have considered them for a contractual component.

I am happy they came down to a reasonable price for me and got my issue resolved. I just wish they would have not been ridiculous with overpricing with the first quote.
