I got a quote for a job from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Tyler, Texas, and thought it was high, so I asked for the hourly rate instead of the per-job rate which was three hundred dollars cheaper. After they started working, they found a second problem which involved replacing another pipe. That upped the price by a thousand dollars. In the end, the second part of the job didn't take as long as they expected but I was still billed for five hours for four hours of work. I think I was overcharged. They did good work, but I'm not sure I'd use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Tyler, Texas again.
