I have an old-school jacked up Chevy Z71 truck that I took to AAMCO Transmission and Auto Service after having the transmission very poorly rebuilt at a different shop. I worked with Dan F and he really saved my transmission. He had to rebuild the whole entire thing which saved my Chevy. He really took his time and took care of what I needed. Dan took care of me through some hard times I was having with my car and ever since then I'll bring the car there for him to do some maintenance. I'm a mechanic myself and I know this truck inside and out because I built it, but there are some things that even I don't want to mess with and it can be tough to find someone with the skills to work on an old truck like mine with a hydraulically driven transmission. I would say they offer very fair pricing. He's offered me fleet pricing every time I come in. I can tell he really values me as a customer and he's made sure their service is within my means. He's just very professional and has gone above and beyond expectations on many occasions. He's even picked me up from my house before. As a mechanic I admire him. He's a very upbeat and positive man.
