Paul did an excellent job responding to my call on Sunday regarding my nonworking air handler. He also brought and installed the new blower the following day (Monday) as promised.
His math skills are somewhat in question though....I recently purchased the Club plan which allows a 10% discount on ALL services. Not only did he refuse to apply this to the $79.00 fee for coming but charged $300 for labor. As his write up shows a normal fee of
$330, one would expect the 10% discount to be $33.00 not $30.00. While a small amount indeed, over time these small amounts (in your favor) do add up. I believe I am owed a refund of $10.90, which represents $7.90 plus $3.00. To be honest, I question the $79.00 fee since I did have the work done! This appears to be a new tactic that Midway has not done before, as least not to me. Doesn't many years of being a valued customer mean anything or should I shop for a new vendor?
