I called on a Saturday that my drain on my air condition had had backed up flooded my floor. Problem No.1 (the safety switch doesn't work due to the installation of the air condition drain, the backup flood switch never has the water backup to it to shut down the air condition.) Problem No.2 ( The metal deposits from the old air condition was never totally removed, allowing this to eventually a blockage to occur. The technician has the liquid rust metal removal in his hand when he walked into the house and after 45 minutes the drain was cleared for $589.00. He stated I should not have this problem again, the newer coils don't release rust. If the drain backs up again how will the emergency switch shutdown the system with the way you people installed that open drain line? The will never flow back to it. That is why it flooded my floors in the first place.
