I'm the kind of guy that would normally try to handle this kind of thing myself, but was out of town a couple of weeks ago when my wife called and said our drain had backed up into the shower. This usually means it's time to have the main line cleaned out from the house to the street.
It had been a couple of years since we had this done, so I knew it was due.

I googled rooter services in my area and went through several supposed local services before calling Reliance. They initially scheduled us for a service call the next morning, but when I explained the situation, they were able to push it forward to later that day.

A couple of hours later, my wife received a call to let her know the tech was on his way. When he arrived, he introduced himself as "Reyes" and proceeded to get right to work on cleaning out the main line. It took a bit, but he cleared the line of those pesky tree roots and got things flowing again. He even took the time to explain a few ways to help avoid, or at least postpone the same thing from happening again. My wife really appreciated the fact that Reyes seemed to actually care about the job he did and the situation she was in. I couldn't ask for more, especially being out of town!

All in all, this was the most pleasant "unpleasant" plumbing experience I could hope for. And all done at an incredible price!

We now have The Reliance business card on our refrigerator, and next time we have a plumbing issue, we'll know just who to call!
