We are a Military family and were setting up move in with myself coming from across the country with my husband attempting communications during downtime on shift at Pendleton. Vanessa misinformed us multiple times about policies and procedures and forced us into a situation where move in day was arriving with no keys for the unit. The company did not set up a walk through, nor was the unit even cleaned! We were promised the carpets would be steam-cleaned and there was dried food and pennies everywhere. The refrigerator had disgusting yellow sludge coming out and the bathroom had hairs and sticky residue on the shower.
Even if that is not their problem, we called multiple times on move in because the on site property manager was told he would have keys for us and he did not! No gate key, no mail key, a borrowed door key, and to top it off we were told we would have a reserved parking spot but ALAS that is not even true! We will get a spot in a month! So I emailed them about these issues and got a call arguing that my husband and I are liars and that Vanessa has been doing this for two years and therefore could not have possibly misinformed us. That we just misunderstood somehow. The manager kept yelling "Well what do you want?!" with zero remorse about any of this! I was told they refuse to send me the garage opener for the gate in the mail because it will get stolen off my porch apparently! FINALLY, after quite a bit of yelling between us, I was told the keys would be mailed to the on site property manager within 5 days.
So, in other words, they make a legal contract with you and lie to you about the condition of the property then withhold access at their convenience then get aggressive when you uphold your end of the contract add request they uphold theirs! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE AT HANDLING MILITARY FAMILIES!
