This company does not take responsibility for property damage.
I scheduled an interstate move with Roadrunner and their partner Atlas. The move involved long-term storage at Roadrunner and a transfer to a smaller truck for delivery to the destination house. There were no problems with the estimate or scheduling. My poor review is because of the amount of damage to my property (chipped and scratched and broken furniture, broken appliances, dented lamp shades) and Roadrunner’s lack of accountability for the damage. I paid for additional “replacement” coverage; there was supposed to be no deductable for the interstate portion of the move, but Roadrunner claimed (I have no way to verify this) that the damage was done in the Roadrunner portion of the move and that allowed them to enforce a $1000 deductible. They also decided to give an allowance rather than replace a damaged refrigerator such that the total damage assessment was exactly the deductible and they paid nothing.
