The controller burnt out for my pool. I searched the web for a "pool electrician" and this company came highly recommended. I made an appt and they were very responsive. Mike came by and that's when my fears rose. I took him to the pool equipment and his first question was "what's that?" pointing to my gas pool heater. That should have been the point where I turned him away but I needed my pool controller fixed. He looked at my controller/timer and told me he didn't have a digital controller and that he'd have to replace it with an analog. At that point, I just told him to do it so at least the pool was operational. When he was finished, I paid him over $600 and he left. Only to find out that he didn't understand that my pool pump has variable speeds and he hooked it up to the low speed so not only would the pool heater not work, nor would the pool cleaner. He had to come back and fix it so that it would only go on high. It worked. Fast forward and my previous electrician had to come to fix everything Mike did and charged me less than half what this company charged. Lesson Learned. Caution using a company that markets themself as being pool electricians. The electrician I got was young and should have been up to date on the latest pool technology.
