The young person, the son of the owner, doing the cleaning was friendly, very eager to do the job, came well prepared and did a good job. Even redoing the stairs he was not very satisfied with. The overall job was well done and without complained O yes, there were two complaints.
At the outset of starting he asked if I would like Scotch guard. I said yes. No mention of the additional cost at that time. I should have asked. To spray Scotch guard turned out to ad a whopping $ 150.00 to the previous agreed cleaning job of $ 229.00 as per phone call. These and other additional cost were also not mentioned at time of job confirmation. An oversight by me and his dad, the owner of the company. Upon my surprise of the extra cost he reduced this amount to $ 99.00. I can live with that. But, before spraying the Scotch guard he had to run out to his car for the container with the spray. Returning he trampled with his street shoes all over the whet and newly cleaned carpet and sprayed and spread out the application.
In my early years as a chef I made my share of mistakes. I learned and so will he.
