New owners are required by the City of Oakland to replace the sewer lateral upon purchase. I usually like to use someone I know, but in this case, Streamline Plumbing had been used by the former owner who recommended them. They dug out the stuff and were able to brace one line and replace the other. I was very happy with how things turned out. They showed up on time and got the job done in one day which meant I didn't have to deposit the required five thousand dollars with the city to comply with their sixty-day deadline. They also took care of the City of Oakland certificate. Additionally, they cleaned up very nicely. I was pleased with the job.
