Poor communication during last visit, including questionable mishandling of work time.
We have used Clean Air a few times, they do quality work. Unfortunately, during the last visit, the tech exhibited extremely poor communication, resulting in a $200 misquote of the work performed - when asked how much the repair would be , he “forgot” to include the labor. The agreed price for the repair was incorrect. To exacerbate the visit more, he again “forgot” to note his arrival time and was charging for more time than he was actually there. After questioning the discrepancy, the tech gave an excuse of his forgetfulness, which can only be summarized as “bovine scatology”. He proceeded with his insolent behavior by writing an editorial on the receipt about how I “thought” his time spent was different , so he adjusted the labor. I scolded him for his poor communication, I don’t believe he said he was sorry. I’m not sure I will use this company again, I’ll have to consider other options - an apology would sure go a long way in rectifying this. I believe he was having a bad day, making neophyte mistakes , he should acknowledge this and extend a written letter, accounting for his, confirming he will endeavor to not repeat this substandard level of service.
