I would not recommend Shaw Law Firm. I was referred through a mortgage lending company because I needed a 1-page document satisfying the lender's requirements. Instead. we got a 19-page separation agreement. At the end of the day, my husband didn't sign the separation agreement so I was out more than $1,500. The retainer for Shaw Law Firm was $1,500, but Scott Shaw said he wouldn't end up using all of it--and said it wouldn't take up the entire amount. At the end of the day it wound up being $1,512. He also asked twice for the same information we provided.

Scott Shaw was late for the first appointment and then he didn't stay completely professional--going back and forth into non-professional topics. He texted someone a picture of a monkey, and he asked if I thought the text of the monkey was cute. He was also talking about the issues about his customized house and his divorce--issues that he was going through.
