Initially I had a good experience with Shaw Law Firm when Julie Howard was working as secretary, but the service went downhill when she suddenly quit. I turned to Shaw Law Firm when I needed a divorce lawyer, and Scott Shaw seemed competent at first, but he began charging me an arm and a leg once Julie quit. He would request information from me through email and then charge me for each email he sent. Anything else he needed or requested, he would charge me a fortune. I tried to go through Julie so I could cut down on my costs, but once she quit, my lawyer fees went up.
I feel like Scott Shaw gives great advice, but he nickles and dimes you and there was no reason for him to charge me lawyer fees for secretary work. I would love to give Julie Howard a glowing review, but she unfortunately doesn't work at Shaw Law Firm anymore and I can't recommend Scott Shaw's services. I was also charged a fortune for the initial consultation that happened over the phone, and usually that's free. Do your research when trying to find a divorce lawyer or get a recommendation from someone who had a good experience, because I definitely did not have a good one at Shaw Law Firm.
