Started off good and then faded.
I have only been in the Sunshine Friends and Family program for a little over a year. Have used them for two cooler start-ups and one shut down.
The first start up went very well. The technician was competent and professional. Every thing went smoothly.
The shut down was even better. Not only did the technician shut the coolers down and cover them, but he did a thorough test of the furnaces, cleaned the filters and tested for CO2.
This last start up left some to be desired. After bending the copper tubing out of its shape, the technician handed me the cover and damper to fold myself. He then advised that the cooler needed a new float, which he installed. However, he did not install the damper to block the air from the furnace. I had to do that after he left and I discovered that damper had not been installed.
On the second cooler, I advised him that the panels needed to be taped shut since they were bent and would rattle in the wind. He taped them, but did not get one securely seated and it rattled, requiring me to climb on the roof to reseat it and re- tape it. He also had not taped the slot where the damper fits. Again, he just gave me the cover and damper to fold and put away.
After all that, he charged me $29.00 for the float and its installation; a ten dollar part at Lowes.
I will see how the shut down goes.
