I got in over my head on a plumbing job and called late morning for an appointment. Service person arrived early afternoon and was later joined by a second plumber. By 4:30 my three sinks (42 years old) had new faucets (owner supplied) and new shut-off valves. Garbage disposal was removed and the drain line was re-plumbed. Cleanup was excellent. I don't know if the cost compares well to other plumbing services but nothing is inexpensive anymore.
