We first started using Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstering over 10 years ago, when they repaired a rocking chair that our grandchildren had broken. They did such a good job, that every time we need refinishing-type work done, we just call them. I have a full size van, so I can usually do the pick-up and drop-offs myself. But my van is often full, and they work well with me to coordinate so that I don't have to empty my van out, just for the furniture. Most recently, they did a unique job for us. Our suede bed had high side-boards and a footboard, and it was becoming more difficult to change the sheets. One of their representatives came out and looked it over. After discussion, we decided to have the sideboards and footboard leveled out, and made lower. They did an excellent job on that! They are very easy people to work with, and we are planning on having them restore our dining room chairs for us.
