The people at Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstering are very delightful people to do business with, and they are highly-skilled artisans! They have done several different jobs for me. They repaired some Monk's chairs which used to belong to my father. The thin arms had been broken and after they finished the repair, you could not tell that they had ever been broken. They redid some cushions that another company had redone but which I was not satisfied with. They repaired two wingback chairs for me, and finally they repaired my grandmother's cedar chest which had been damaged in Hurricane Irma. I worked a lot with Suzanne at the company, and she was very helpful. She made great suggestions to me, and she kept me posted about the progress of the work. The people there are so nice that you almost feel like the work is being done by a friend. The people in the shop area go over your furniture with you and they explain to you what they need to do. They did that with my grandmothers' cedar chest and I really appreciated how informative they were. I can not say enough good things about them and I would highly recommend them to everyone. I would never hesitate to take the finest piece of furniture there. I have a lot of respect for people who work with their hands, and let me tell you, the people at Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstering are true artists!
