I had a very good experience with Jax Furniture Refinishing & Upholstery. I have an entire bedroom set which is forty five years old. It's a seven piece set. The furniture I have is all made of solid wood. It was made back in the 70s, when they used metal runners. It's solid wood through and through. And the furniture itself, after my house was flooded, it had sun damage, and all of that. So I got Jax Furniture not only to refinish my furniture, but they added about eight to ten inches to the headboard for my bed, like the modern ones are now.

A long time ago, the mattresses were lower, and the bed frames were smaller. With the larger mattresses now, and the fluffier pillows, it covered my headboard up. So I asked Jax Furniture to add some height on the legs, and they did. You can't even tell they did it. Now, the whole headboard can show when I make the bed up. It's just been perfect. I found the guys from Jax Furniture very cooperative and very thorough. They wanted to make me happy and they did whatever it took to make that happen. When they brought my furniture back from repairs, they put it back together for me. They really went out of their way for me.

Before they left they asked me if I wanted or needed anything else. And I said no, because they had done everything! Jax Furniture are definitely worth the price, too. I used two similar companies before and they ruined my tables. I'm not sure if I would've gotten the same great results with those companies like I've had with Jax Furniture. Jax Furniture also gave me a price at the beginning, and they stuck to that price from the very beginning. So I'm very happy with everything. I think they've done a lovely job, I would recommend them.
