There are lot of complaints, heartburn and dissatisfaction with the School's arbitrary process of putting a student in Gold Book and Blue Book. The process is very secretive, subjective and arbitrary. In today's world where every process is objective and transparent, you sometimes feel cheated when your kid is not in the Gold book category without you knowing it. I have never heard of such a secretive and arbitrary process. and when your kid in Blue Book outperforms the kids in Gold Book category, it only raises suspicion of favoritism in the selection. Moreover the process is very secretive. I just suggest to the school to have a more objective diagnosis process which is shared with the parents before the kids are put in any category.
