My son began attending the Apple Montessori in Towaco when he was 3 1/2. Within weeks he knew all consonant sounds, digraphs and long vowel sounds. He was able to count to 100. After his first year he was reading and beginning addition. Now that he's completing his last year of pre-school, he is reading fluently, adding, and subtracting. My son is more than ready for kindergarten.
The staff at the Towaco Apple Montessori are professional, knowledgeable, and nurturing individuals. They are guided by an excellent principal who has high standards for her team.
The thing I appreciate the most, more than all of the academic knowledge that my son has gained while attending AMS, is knowing that he is with people I can trust. As a working mom, this is most important to me.
