I took care of two shipment using Craters & Freighters, one was from Vegas and the other one was from San Francisco.
The Las Vegas shipment was totally good, the service was good. Then I had another shipment from San Francisco and maybe the job wasn't a big enough shipment or something but anyway, they didn't package the panels as nicely as they did the first time I had used them. By the time I got the floor back to Florida, the cardboards that they used for shipping had collapsed and I think they had to know that they can't use cardboard like that in Florida because it's very humid.
So, the problem with what happened was also the responsibility of the Florida guy at the shipping dock. Any way, when they packed the stuff from my Vegas shipment, it was packaged a lot better, they used wooden crates which was great, by the time I got my stuff in Florida, everything was all in the floor.
Nothing that really damaged inside, I guess I was just disappointed cause it was hard to move the boxes around cause they weren't strong enough and I had to handle everything when I was taking it all to the truck.
But they were very nice about trying to make things better when I had a complaint and I don't really know how much control over all of this they actually have or who takes care of things on the other end of the shipment but I do think that they need to make sure to know who they send it to.
If I had to rate them strictly in what I know they provided me with, it would definitely be fine but I think they at least knew it was going to Florida and they should have known that it would be exposed to humidity.
