I was referred to Club Champion and Jon Bock by someone at my golf club who was recently fitted for new irons. The entire experience was easy-peasy and totally enjoyable. As I await my new Callaway Rogue irons (5-SW), I can only hope that my experience with them on the golf course is half of what I experienced today.

Jon was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and, perhaps best of all, patient and not at all "sales-y" or pushy. In fact, while I'd signed up for a full bag evaluation, he told me he wouldn't change anything with my woods (I hope that doesn't mean I'm beyond help in that area of my game!), so we only focused on irons and he only charged me for that.

Same thing with my putter: John made a slight weight adjustment and -- wouldn't you know it -- I made a number of consecutive putts -- something I never do on the course (okay, granted it was off a mat, and with no breaks whatsoever, but whatever...).

Again, if you're in the market for new clubs, or even just want an evaluation of your current bag, I'd highly recommend Club Champion and Jon Bock.
