I was referred to J&F Motors from a local upholstery place. I took my daughters car in because the convertible top was stuck in the closed position. They said they could fix it. Apparently they had difficulties with it. Not only did they not fix the convertible ut they broke the shocks making the car undrivable and basically totaling it. They did not even tell us that they had broken the shocks. When we pulled out of the lot (I drove her there to pick up the car so I was following her) the whole back end was bouncing up and down. Since it was an older model it would have cost more to fix the shocks than it was worth but it was still disappointing as it was running fine before we brought it in. Plus seeing my daughter driving that was a bit scary. I have never had to ask an auto repair shop if their workers were qualified to do work or if they would do a warranty on their work, but from now on I will. I would tell potential customers to ask for a warranty on the repair work and ask if they have qualified technicians to do the repairs, not just someone who says "we can fix that". I will most likely not use J&F Motors again.
