I highly recommend American Home Water and Air for all work related to HVAC issues and here’s why.
My air conditioner was 17 years and last Thursday, May 30, 2019, the unit finally gave up the ghost. I called AHW&A and Joseph, the serviceman, came out and worked on the system for 2 hours to determine if the compressor could be restarted (among other things). Replacing the compressor would cost a lot of money and who knows how long the unit would have lasted given its age. I needed a new unit. That evening, I received a quote for a unit that was similar to mine and two other options along with some payment and discount information. I decided what I wanted and Drew set everything up for me to get my new unit the next day. The process was awesome.
Jason called in the morning letting me know they were on their way and approximately when they would arrive. They came with everything they needed, got right to work removing the old unit and preparing to place the new unit. This took some time because I had a lot of additional duct work up there (house came that way…). The crew who worked on this removal and install were polite, efficient and got the job done. AHW&A also arranged to have a roofer come after they were finished to repair and patch places on the roof from the old unit. I am very happy with the whole process. This company keeps their word, does excellent work and fixes things right away if there are problems.
