I called Tom today to ask questions about the President water softener and less than 3 hours later the install was complete. The warranty appears to be better than anything else I found. The installer, Higi, did a great job, was very neat and cleaned up when he was done. Too early to say how the softener works but awesome service experience and so fast considering this was not an emergency call.
