Totally Satisfied with Work, Very Disappointed with the Bill

We had Craig Van Lines to help us with a move. They gave me good advice. They did an excellent job packing and unpacking our stuff. Then when we got the bill they had charged us $2000 more than the original estimate. I called them and asked what was wrong and she told me that when the man did the estimated that it was only a partial estimate. That's not what I thought, so it's my word against theirs.

They billed us over $7000 and that was not what they quoted me. Because of that, I will not recommend them. They should have estimated what they saw and not what they thought. I was totally satisfied with the guys who did the work, but I was very disappointed in the difference in price.

I am sorry that you were disappointed with the bill that you received, however you were billed fairly for the services we provided to you. When Dave came to do your estimate you explained to him that you only needed a partial pack because you were going to pack other items yourself. So that is why you received a "partial" estimate. This was at your request. When we came to pack up your belongings we had to do a full pack because you had not packed the items you claimed you were going to pack (that were left off of the estimate). This was explained to you when you called our office. I am sorry to hear that you still do not feel that your experience was satisfactory due to the explanation of the circumstances. We would have gladly estimated a full pack of your belongings at the time of the estimate if you had not requested only a partial pack.
