I've always dreaded dealing with contractors (esp ones that have hourly rates). Went to Honest Install after exhausting all options of doing it myself - read thru' their reviews on Angie's list.

Talked to their sales team and they were upfront with their pricing estimates, and also indicated that the technicians would keep me apprised of any change of the estimate during the install (due to any unexpected/unforeseeable issues).

Scheduling was very easy, and payments were very easy as well.

The two technicians that showed up were very professional. No dilly-dallying around. Understood exactly what I wanted, and got it done. Checked with me as they were progressing and had questions (instead of making any assumptions about how I wanted to proceed). Cabling was done very professionally, cables were dressed up and mounted to the walls/eaves so they were concealed as much as possible. They didn't insist on doing things "their" way, and were willing to do what I wanted to do. Can't really ask for anything better!

Cost turned out to be exactly what was estimated.

Are they pricey? Maybe - if you can do it yourself, that is certainly cheaper. But I doubt you will find anybody to do it for you (professionally) cheaper than what they offered.
