Being that I am in the information technology business for over 20 years I tend to be very particular with the hardware selections and installation esthetics so when I decided to install a dedicated home theater I researched many companies. What I found were a number of one man companys that I did not feel comfortable with the experience level. In addition I was even more skeptical about providing a check or credit card number to these one man crews who tend to disappear after you pay them. On the other side of the coin is the big box stores. Although you have security with the financial aspect what you are paying for is typically sub par equipment with outrageous markups followed up by sloppy installations.

After weeks of research in the DFW area I found Honest Install. The online reviews seemed almost to good to believe but I have to say they are a premiere home electronics install company. My experience started with an in home estimate requested by me. The Sales Manager Cody showed up at my home on time and listened to my requirements and expectations. Cody took some basic measurements and I gave him my budget. Before the end of the day I was provided a full estimate and detailed hardware description in writing. These guys follow-up!

Everything on the estimate was discussed in our in home conversation and re-verified in a follow-up call Cody made to me. I decided to go forward with quoted install and scheduled a date. Like clockwork I was called about 30 minutes before the scheduled install date to confirm access to the home. It is hard to explain how polite and professional these gentlemen were. The installers I worked with were Fares, Jerry, Sammy and Cody.

Upon arrival we spoke briefly about the install and they began to bring in the new equipment. Prior to cutting any holes in my sheetrock they would verify speaker location with me followed up by cleaning up all the sheetrock mess. All cuts were completed perfectly. All in wall equipment was flush, level and placed as discussed.

The projector screen and projector were hung perfectly. When testing the equipment they spent as long as needed to fine-tune the picture until perfection was reached. I want to give a special thanks to Cody for the equipment recommendations that delivered what I requested without breaking my budget. In addition the lead installer Fares, is a wealth of technical knowledge, answering all my questions in detail and more importantly he treated my install as if it was his own. You could tell the concern, care and dedication he puts in his work.

I would feel comfortable recommending Honest Install to any of my family, friends or business partners. My wife and I are unbelievably pleased with the work they did. Thank you again gentlemen!
