I cannot say enough good things about Honest Install (HI). From start to finish, my experience with this company has been fantastic. I hired HI to convert a small bedroom into a home theater. This required HI to: mount my 65 plasma TV; install my 5.1 surround sound system (including mounting 3 speakers); hook up and conceal my receiver, DVR, XBOX, PS3, and AppleTV in the closet; install an IR Kit; move electrical outlets; and drop various wires (Ethernet, cable, speaker). HIs prices are fair and there were no surprises on the bill. Chris, the Sales Tech, was candid and trustworthy--he even advised against some pricey upgrades because the benefits were negligible. The installers (Darrel and Chandler) arrived on time (actually at the early part of the window) and were awesome. They take a lot of pride in their work and you can tell that they genuinely got a lot of satisfaction from the look on my face when I saw that my spare bedroom was transformed into a man-cave. The room was a challenge to wire and I wanted things done a certain way. But Darrel and Chandler took the time to do the job right and did not cut corners despite the fact that it took more time than was anticipated. They also provided excellent advice. For example, they thought that it was a shame to ruin the lines of my TV with the IR sensor (regardless of how small it was) so they found a great place to hide it behind the center channel grille. In addition to the fact that they are extremely competent, you could not ask for nicer people to install A/V components in your home. Darrel and Chandler are just great guys. They even told me to let my 2 dogs in when it started getting hot outside despite my warnings that they would be annoying. I could not have had a better experience with this company.
