When I had my heat pump replaced it was recommended that I get a surge protector installed which I did. Now I am told that the surge protector they installed is no good and needs to be replaced for over $230. I feel that they should cut a break on the price. The tech who did my service check was quoting all kinds of prices on other things and quoting dicounts for what he could do. He seemed more like a saleman than a tech.
