White Performance & Machine Company is a phenomenal company! This was my first time using them. I was searching on the internet for motor builders in the United States and I found them. I was comforted to see their policy of paying half down and the balance at the end. That showed me several things. It showed me that they are trustworthy and that they take pride in the work they are doing and want you to be pleased with the end result. If I had the choice to give them 10 stars instead of 5 I would! They were phenomenal through the entire process! I was in the market to purchase a 396 stroker motor with AFR heads and 600 HP. I talked with Daniel a lot about the purchase. He took the time to review everything with me and he was quick to respond if he missed my call. He talked about the rear end, the gears and matched everything perfectly. They made both the ordering and shipping an easy process. Their shipping is a flat rate and their packaging was unbelievably good! In fact, the crate it came in was so elaborate that I used the wood to build a new housing for making a well! They also test the engine on an engine dyno. The engine dyno testing helps to break in the engine and makes it easy to spot and repair any items before it is shipped out. A lot of the companies I looked at did not offer this service so you could have potentially received something that would not work. I appreciate that White Performance takes this added step for their clients! They were also wonderful about not trying to upsell things or sell you things that you do not need. They were not pushy they were very honest and upfront with everything including pricing and what would be done. They work with you on your budget and help you with the options. With how great their customer service I had that I also purchased some other things like some dipsticks. The machine shop even answers their phone after hours so if you have questions they will review things with you and answer your questions. When I received the motor it was already timed and it needed no adjustments. By the time all was said and done I spent about $11,000 for my '71 Nova and it was worth every penny! I want everyone to know that everything they tell you is exactly what you will get! They offer high-end quality products, their ordering is an easy process, their shipping and handling are wonderful and their customer service is superb! They are a very honest and trustworthy company!
