on 3-19-18 I purchased a sbc assembly with block. I asked how long it would be to get the assembled motor and I was told 6-8 week for the assembled motor or 2 weeks not assembled. so I chose the non assembled so that I could get it quicker. And its been 7 weeks and I still have not got it. it seems like every time I call I get the run around. its either the parts are back ordered or the person I nee to talk to is not in. I called on may 4, 2018 and the guy I talked with said that they was caught up and that maybe my motor had shipped because they only had 3 motors in the shop and neither of them had my name on it. he told me to call back the next day and talk to Rob. so I did and rob was not in... so the guy proceeded to tell me that it took quality time to send out good motors and I said yes it does and you tec guy AL was the one that sold me the motor and told me 2 weeks. I called today and talked with a guy at whites and he said my motor was in the balance room. I said so does that mean that my parts are in stock? and he said I'm not sure. I said so? it could be just sitting in the balance room and he said I'm not sure. but it should be ready in a few more weeks... let me remind you it was suppose to ship in 2 weeks and it been 7 weeks now... so I call back and ask to speak to the owner or manager. I get a lady that I have spoken with once or twice before. she was very nice about it. she spoke with the owner and he said my motor would ship by this Friday. may 11, 2018 so in the mean time I'm patiently waiting to see.... so if your looking to order a motor from whites be sure to ask if the parts are in stock before ordering... and be prepared to wait 6-8 weeks longer than the time frame they tell you
