The first time the guy from My Plumber Heating and Cooling came out was good. His name was Oscar. He worked very hard and I am pleased with what he did. The next time they sent Paul Blake, he talked me into getting the maintenance agreement. He said it would be $20 per month. I didn't have a problem with that. What he didn't tell me was that I had to pay with a credit card so they could automatically deduct the monthly payment. I didn't want to pay with credit card, I wanted to give them a personal check, but, they wouldn't accept it. Paul never explained this to me, or the fact that if I wanted to cancel the agreement, it would cost me $200. Otherwise, I couldn't cancel it. I tried to send them a $20 check and they wouldn't take it. Money is money, and they shouldn't tell me how to pay with mine. He should have made sure that I understood this very important detail before I signed anything. He needs to present the fine print to the customer and be honest and up front. This company should train their people better. I feel as though the company is just greedy and doesn't appreciate or care about their customers. They need to respect the customer and work with them, not be out to get them. By treating me like this they lost a sale with me that we had discussed worth almost $5000. I do not recommend using this company unless you read the fine print.
