This was my first time having my ducts cleaned in a 100+ year old house my wife and bought 2 years ago. I was a little hesitant about Ductworks as my initial phone call was not returned. I chalked that up to a mistake or backlog when I spoke to a nice rep who apologized when I called back, so I went ahead and got a quote. (That's the only reason I didn't do 5 stars in Total Experience) The quote was very reasonable and I liked the outline I was given of what all they would do to my HVAC system so I scheduled an appointment. Sani was our tech and I was very impressed when he showed up 15 mins before the scheduled time to start unloading equipment. Sani took great care and time in explaining the whole process, examining our system and walking us through what all he would do. He then proceeded to lay cloth down over all areas of our house, and I even noticed he wrapped the vacuum hose where it came in contact with our staircase. Needless to say, nothing was damaged in the visit. Sani also took the time to point out and show me areas of concern when he uncovered them. To be honest, I couldn't believe how bad our ducts were. Sani literally pulled out things like a cigarette $@!#%, a beer can, a small painting, and lord knows what else was vacuumed out. He said he could tell the vents and furnace blowers had never been cleaned. My wife is pregnant and seeing the 'after' photos compared to the 'before' was such a relief. Sani estimated it would take 6 to 8 hours to clean our ducts and furnaces. On a Saturday, he was here 9 and a half hours and worked contentiously the whole time. After some prodding, Sani admitted to me that this was the dirtiest he had seen ducts. Our house was completely remodeled before we moved in, this is one thing that you don't necessarily think of. I honestly feel like I got a bargain from Ductworks. I'm so glad that I called Ductworks and will definitely use them in the future, I will also request Sani as I wouldn't have asked he did one thing different.
