We had 15 total registers in our smaller home. I don't know how much this service cost as it was covered under an insurance claim. I have had the "cheap" duct cleaning companies clean another home's ducts, and that was a total waste of money. They didn't have the right equipment and were in and out in 2 hrs. Jul from Ductworks was at our house from 7:30am-1pm. Extremely thorough. Saw the before/after pictures of the ducts and they were very clean. Cleaned the furnace blower also and all the register covers, and cut access holes to the large ducts to clean them. Then sealed the cut squares back up again. Wore protective footwear and put down dropclothes everywhere, so there was no mess after he left. The improved quality of the air in the house was immediately noticable. I'm sure their service costs more than the "coupon special" duct cleaning companies out there, but Ductworks does it right, has the proper equipment to actually get all the junk out of the ducts, and you know you will have a thorough, professional job when they are finished.
