Improper charging to credit card; funds not returned
I was distressed when I first got a very high price quote and ordered propane nevertheless. The next day I called back and renegotiated the price per gallon. I was very happy at how kind and helpful Rose was. However, I am very bothered that the 50 plus dollars was not returned to my card—that being the difference for the initially charged (but not delivered) amount. It's terrible and dubiously legal to keep money for any product or service not delivered. This amount should be returned. Furthermore, the general policy to charge people who have limited means and are frugal more per gallon because their usage is low versus giving a price break to wealthy people who have tons of money to spend is , while it is standard business practice, morally bankrupt, un-American, and definitely un-Christian. It is the people who don't have a lot of money, like me, who are careful (like me) who deserve a price break, not the well-to-do who have money to burn, and literally do so with thousands of gallons of propane purchased at a cut rate.
