I had to call and follow up with them all of the time unless there was money involved. I really didn't feel like he advocated for me as he should. I had to push my lawyer for a higher settlement as well as give him things to ask my employer for on my behalf that he knew I deserved, and to be honest, I really don't trust that he even bothered. I left several messages as well as emails with no response and at this point I felt that it was time to settle because he really wasn't in it for me and he was charging me for nothing. He netted more money than I did and never bothered to thank me for my business!! My settlement was direct deposited into my account without a word from anyone. I had to email the firm to find out if I was done. I got a return email from his legal clerk that read " Please note that nothing further is needed and your case is closed and fully resolved." I really shouldn't be feeling this way after "Winning My Case!" Glad it's over!
