I would suggest using the water base polyurethane instead of the oil. Less odor. Not as damaging to health. It has been five days since the polyurethane was applied and the odor is still quite strong. It can take a month or longer for the odor to dissipate. The toxic gas coming off the floor from the oil base polyurethane while it cures can cause cancer, liver and kidney damage.
