These days it seems there is a lack of customer service in the workplace. Professionalism has gone by the wayside and follow-up is almost non-existent. I am happy to say, however, that Jim Kleiser went way beyond the call of duty when I had a whole-house generator installed at my Sherwood home. There was a major snowstorm in December of 2008 and we had 3 feet of it on the ground. We live at 900 feet elevation and had quite an accumulation. Power was out all over the city and our generator kicked in as expected. However, a gasket was working loose and eventually the generator stopped working. I called Jim on Christmas Eve and he drove from Vancouver to Sherwood. He arrived at about 8pm and walked down our driveway through 3 feet of snow and ice. I shined my flashlight on the generator (located outside) while he went to work. It snowed on us while he worked and he dilegently fixed the problem. He finished at about 10:30pm. It is refreshing to see there are some businesses who really do care about their customers and want to make things right. Thank you Jim for your dedication and professionalism. May more businesses emulate your high standards.
