I'm really, really, really happy with the Marmoleum from Green Building Supply. The green cleaner was OK. I make a cleaner and the green cleaner isn't any better than what I make. We have one bathtub that's really bad with water scale and I hoped it would work, so we were a little disappointed: We were hoping that the cleaner was magical. It's probably a really good cleaner if you don't expect too much out of it.

With the Marmoleum, we were unprepared for problems with the trims around the doors and corners--but we used a wood filler and pieced it together. I love the floor and it amazes me that the seams were so tight. We are using it in an artist's studio, so we put Quietwalk padding underneath. We are very, very happy and will order more for my husband's office; we are also planning to order some in the future for our kitchen.

I love the personal services that Green Building Supply offers. Sometimes we had to be a little persistent to have a little bit of follow through, but people are human and you don't get personal service from most companies. I would probably buy anything from them because we are glad they are attending to the environment. People are getting sicker and sicker, so it feels very likely that environmental toxins are one of the reasons, and we are glad that Green Building Supply exists. We were looking for healthier alternatives--and it's exhausting when I go to conventional places that say the items are green and toxin-free, but then I look up the ingredients and find they aren't.
