We just ordered bamboo hardwood floors from Green Building Supply, and I think they need--when selling certain floors--to tell customers what the best application for them is. In some regions in America there are some hardwoods that don't work well. We are in Colorado, so it's dry here, but the bamboo hardwood is grown in the tropics--so it's not something we would have chosen. The flooring is drying out, so they definitely need to inform customers that some floors aren't compatible with the climates in some parts of the country. If they would have said that it wasn't the best for our region, we would have chosen something else.
