I used Oil Plus 2C on my pantry shelves. Now that the stain has dried and cured it has almost no odor, and it's not unpleasant at all. But for three days after I applied it to my shelves (which fortunately were new and not yet secured in place) they had to be left outside because the odor from the product I used gave me a headache. I had to get up in the middle of the night and put the shelves outsidel It was not a chemical smell, but was very strong. Being chemically sensitive, I react to some natural odors as well. I would definitely recommend this product and would use it again, now that I know that it needs to cure somewhere other than where sensitive individuals are living. While drying, it has an odor somewhat reminiscent of unlit pipe tobacco (which is not an unpleasant odor to me, but was very strong.) That said, the stain is beautiful and durable. I am excited to try other GBS products.
