You have to tell the whole story upfront
We had a couple of glitches with Florence Carpet and Tile. The biggest was with our kitchenette. We had vinyl placed over the original flooring which is uneven. It was my understanding the 1/2.in plywood they laid would take the unevenness from the ground below. Initially, it did not and. they had roll it with 100 lbs press. Also, at one point they ran out of tile and had to order more which added 1 more week to service.
What bothered us the most, is no one told us this vinyl tile had no shine nor did we receive proper care instructions. The final flooring was a little darker than what we'd like. We've heard similar stories from other companies who've done business with them. I don't know why they wouldn't tell us that other than their own interest in a profit. You have to tell the whole story upfront. You might get your money, but you won't get a recommendation from me.
They covered the basic points of the service, did a good job on the trimmed pieces that joined dining room to the kitchen and other connected points. They also did a good job on the carpet. But they were they were late.
