Precision Auto Service

Lousy service

Was having some trust issues with my previous mechanic and read about Precision online. Gave them a call with my recent issue with acceleration and they gave me their spiel over the phone that I would love their service . They would start with a full inspection for a couple of hundred and give me the results. Not only that but I could view the results on my smart phone! Whoopie! The smart phone report I paid for was mostly useless. As in I already knew that most of the issues they found. Almost like saying we found bird doo doo on your left front fender. Included in your report is cute profile pics of your tech working on your vehicle and the service manager. Cute. I just paid for that. Also reminding you of how happy you will be with their service. $3000 later my vehicle seems to be repaired. Was expecting less but just wanted to be over with this place and left. Then they start bugging you with emails to come back and you have this discount surveys etc. But the final Pain In the $@!#% is six months later I end up with another problem and the mechanic finds the work done at Precision has cost me another $1000 to fix. All because when they removed the EGR system they did not torgue up the bolts or use the right bolts. This resulted in one of four bolts protruding from the block and the gasket giving way causing a whistling sound and loss of oil. I took it in for the whistling sound and it took the mechanic 5 hours with a smoke machine to find the leak. Then three hours to build a gasket and seal it up.
Precision Auto Service may ask ...why did you not bring it back to us ?... well because you overcharged in the beginning and couldn't even torque the bolts up tight to begin with. My $3000 bill is now $4000. FU.
