We had two plumbers come to our house to install some valves. We were told which walls we were going to have the items placed on, but little else. When we went to look at the work, we realized that one of the faucets was very high up on our wall. I have to reach up to even turn the water on. I called them and asked them to come out to move the valve to a reasonable location, and they refused. In fact, they lied and said that they went through every detail of this with us ahead of time, which is simply untrue. They maintained that if the valves work, there is no problem. Clearly, people want their fixture placement to look attractive, not just function. I then called another plumber to come make the valve placement look reasonable, which he did in under 30 minutes. We spent a fortune on this plumber and had to re-do their work with another company.
